Royal Cup coffee is committed to helping preserve the environment. As a major coffee roaster and distributor, we have a vested interest in the growth and well-being of the coffee growing regions around the world. Some of our corporate environmental initiatives include:
- Royal Cup was the second national coffee roaster to align with The Rainforest Alliance. The Rainforest Alliance "works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behavior."
- Royal Cup has implemented a number of environmentally and socially responsible warehousing and transportation initiatives in an effort to minimize waste. Route efficiency procedures and our Espress Ship department enable us to minimize fuel consumption while maintaining a high level of service.
- Royal Cup offers energy efficient single-serve equipment packages, in-line water filtration units, fully sustainable disposable foodservice products, single-serve product waste up-cycling programs, as well as environmentally-friendly cleaning products through our "Earth Concepts" program.
